For lunch time the park is nice and kid friendly with a fountain. Today I brought a picnic lunch and met my wife there on my lunch break.
It is a joy to visit. The stories are amazing, the activities are great. Restaurants there are delicious. I started going there after college and 20 something years later I'm still going.
Used to be a great destination until they decided to change for parking and implemented draconian enforcement. If you don't have a smart phone don't even bother -- you have to run their app to pay. Full on techno discrimination.
I only have this a 4 star because Reston town center requires paid parking which I really am not a fan of.
Wow. Is all I can say wow awesome place would love to live and or work at this location. It's a campus of delight. Love Ted bulletins place and to all of his locations in DC however I was not very pleased with the blue plate special early bird special. Two thirds the cost 1/3 the portion.
I work here but I also love the Reston town center area. Lots of great places to eat like Morton's, Mon Ami Gabi and Julio's but also a few good locations to get a drink. Red velvet cupcakes and Edibles Incredible Desserts are a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth.
So many stores and food options. Also a great place to walk around and hang out. Very pretty in the holiday season when the trees are decorated with lights. There is also an outdoor ice rink open when it's cold.
